There are many different ways that you can use our services – to search for and share information, to communicate with other MoneyClub members or conduct financial transactions. When you share information with us, for example by creating a MoneyClub Account, or using services on the MoneyClub App. As you use our services, we want you to be clear how we’re using information and the ways in which you can protect your privacy.

Information that we collect
Information you give us. When you sign up for a MoneyClub Account we ask for personal information like your name, email address, telephone number to store with your account. You can update your profile with additional details like your photo and bank account details. When you win a bid, we also ask you to provide your bank details (like account number/IFSC code, MMID, UPI/VPA) that we will share with other members of your club for them to transfer money to you.
Information we get from your use of our services. We collect information about the services that you use and how you use them, like when you login to the service, create clubs, invite other members to the club, accept invitation to join the club, search and explore other members for forming new clubs, exploring clubs you are already a member of, chatting with other members of your clubs, participating in bids, responding to notifications, transferring and accepting money, confirming financial transactions, interacting with the MoneyClub support team. This information includes:
- We collect device specific information such as your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (like IMEI, SIM/ICCID) and mobile network information including phone number.
- When you use our services, we automatically collect and store certain information in server logs.
– details of how you used our service, time and date of activities and events.
– internet protocol address (IP address).
– device event information, such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings.
– cookies that may uniquely identify your MoneyClub Account.
- When you use MoneyClub services, we may collect and process information about your actual location based on IP address, GPS, Wi-Fi access point and mobile towers.
- We may collect and store information (including personal information) locally on your device.
How we use information that we collect
We use the information we collect from all of our services to provide, maintain, protect and improve them, to develop new ones, and to protect MoneyClub and users of MoneyClub. We also use this information to offer you tailored content – like promotions, completing financial transactions and discovery of other members.
Many of our services let you share information with others like bidding history, chat, financial payments and receipts, confirmation of financial transactions. These are shared with other users on the need basis. For example, we share the bid winner’s bank details with other users of the club for facilitating the money transfer. We will send reminders for pending money transfers to the members through in-app notification as well as SMS which may be copied to other members of the club members for closing out pending transfers.
We will share your bank details with our partner banks for facilitating money transfer.
We may share your payment history to rank credit rating that may be used for decision by other members for inviting to clubs or accepting membership to clubs.
We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside the MoneyClub if we have a belief in good faith that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:
◦meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
◦enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations.
◦detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.
◦protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of MoneyClub, our users or the public, as required or permitted by law.
◦We work hard to protect MoneyClub and our users from unauthorised access to or unauthorised alteration, disclosure or destruction of information that we hold. In particular:
•We encrypt many of our services using SSL.
•We review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorised access to systems.
•We restrict access to personal information to MoneyClub employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it for us and who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations. They may be disciplined or their contract terminated if they fail to meet these obligations.
